Biography

Drew Christie began his professional career at an early age appearing in many of Yorkshire's Repertory Theatre productions. In 1988 Drew decided to take the time-honoured path of being a Butlin's Redcoat and he was soon promoted to an Entertainment's Management position and it was while still at Butlin's that he first introduced his Female Impersonator roles.

Following a year in revue, Drew hit the road with his solo cabaret show and has spent over a decade touring the UK, appearing in some of Europe's leading cabaret venues. He has also headlined many floorshows including The Drew Christie Experience, Follies Galore and Summer Express (summer season show).

Recent Theatre credits include The Drew Christie Show, The Ultimate Ladies Night (Tours), Nick/Angel in Pink For A Boy and Simply Outrageous (Oldham Coliseum).

Drew gained notoriety when his legs where insured for a cool £1million which brings a whole new meaning to the old theatrical saying "Break a Leg", this lead to national press coverage and many TV appearances, including Richard and Judy and The Big Breakfast to name but a few. Drew's act has also been the feature of many other TV appearances.
